2012 X5 50i versus 2010 X5M
Hey Guys,
I need help deciding. Lease a new 2012 X5 50i or buy a nice 2010 X5M with 12k miles for $76K. The X5 50i lease will cost me quite a bit less money, but I just can't get that X5m out of my head. Unfortunately, I cannot get the guy to move much on the X5M. I am coming from an M3. I love the M cars. But it seems like with a chip you can make the X5 50i a beast as well. Help |

those used high performance car Like M worried me, who know how previous owners drive their's, but again you save alot money from brand new one. I would get used X5M if it has CPO extend warranty.

Get the M. I just traded a 2011 50i for a 2010 X5M. Not even close, the M is so much better.
PS - I paid 72K for a 2010 X5M with 11K miles. Could not get them any lower and I tried for a month! Market not so easy around NY/NJ area. Could have found X5M lower out of State but not worth it. Also, this dealer gave me 60K on trade for my 2011 50i Sport MSRP of 73K (that I paid 67K) with 13K miles which was at least 5K higher than all other dealers which made the M price even better. But I do think 76K is a little high. |

get the M!!
i came from a 2003 m5 to a 2010 X5M and like everyone above says .- You will regret not getting it, it is an amazing machine just make sure you have a cpo to go with it. Ive ownerd the car for almost a year and I think the cpo has paid for itself already. The car isnt problematic at all but I did experience some computers issues that without a warranty couldve been pretty scary, monetarily.
Btw bought mine with 19k miles on for 70k. |
