What options does this have?? Can't find similar pictures..
Here is a link to the AutoTrader ad..
My question is, is this the M Sport Package for 2007? I can't seem to find similar pictures, only ones for 2008+ but they have different front and rear bumpers, and no running boards. It also doesn't look to have the M steering wheel either. Thanks in advance!

Car has Sport, Tech, and Cold Weather packages from what I can tell. Does not have Multi-Contour seats (a personal favorite of mine).
That's not an M-Sport Package, I believe. It looks like it's body color painted plastic trim pieces. I may be wrong there. |

Yes, it could have been. I would also be careful when you are getting up there in the mileage. 07 was fairly new with the current body style. I do not think the runnung board come w/ the M-Sport PKG and I do not think they ever did. I think it could be an add on after the fact. It looks great though, just have an independent mechanic separate from the place that is selling it, inspect it if it is not a dealership .

There was no M-sport package back in 2007 for the X5. Like it says above it is a Sports package with all the black plastic trim painted aftermarket and most likely the running board option was purchased with the vehicle as well.

I think 2009 was the first year for the M Sport package. Also, the M Sport package flares are not just body paint, they are different parts completely. Where the matt black parts are flush and vertically straight, the M Sport flares extend from the body - about an inch in the front and more than two in the rear.

^ yes, the M Sport package flares are different from the regular Sport package. However, if you got the extended fender flares, which came with the upgraded wheel package if I remember correctly, it would stick out from the body about an inch in the front and a bit more in rear like the M Sport. If you do a search for fender flares, there are a bunch of threads on them where people added them on after purchase.

Thanks for all the information! It has all been very helpful!
I will post more pictures once we pick it up. We're just waiting on some paperwork to arrive to get tags. Hopefully it will be by next weekend! In the mean time, I've made a short list of things to buy.. -M shifter trim -M door sills -M pedals -M steering wheel? -Painted front reflectors -Aero kit?
