Another Rookie Question - Mirrors and Width
Do the exterior mirrors fold electrically? (I imagine so)
And even folded they are the widest point of the car, correct? |

Near the mirror adjust left/right slide switch is a button to fold them in.
I'd guess that is the still the widest point except maybe the rear fender flares on sport models. I fold my mirrors in to park in my sisters car port. The challenge is backing back out.

They do providing you have the Convience Package on the 3.5i or the Premium Package on the 3.5d or 5.0i. Even folded that would be the widest part of the vehicle.

Thanks guys - I am looking at the SAV, so my question was related to the whether, even with the wider wheels/tires, the mirrors were the widest point, which you guys have confirmed!

Yep. Even with the M Sport rear flares, the folded mirrors are the widest point. Just clears the garage door with a few inches to spare on each side.
