My New 2013 X6 30d Msport has arrived

Got a great deal on some new 299 wheels but not sure how they look. Think im going to have to spring for some 300M style wheels. Just waiting on the upgraded 50i tips that will arrive next week and then i should see her arrive home the following week.

Fwiw, I don't know the code but the 7-spoke wheels in the first pic are beautiful, if those are the ones you have I would keep them.

I am not a fan of the 299M either. If the first pic was your stockers, they look way better. I would keep those and resell the 299M's, unless, you sold them already. The 300M's are awesome, though, but I am biased as I have them.

Cheers DDK, yes the first pic are standard on our MSport over here in OZ 333M style wheels but wanted something different this time round. I still have both sets so will chase down some 300M's.

pre delivery done and all cleaned. The dealer has been great and knowing the look i was after is getting the 299's painted in semi gloss black for me. Should have them back in a few days. We have days to burn as we are still waiting on the exhaust upgrade to arrive from Germany.

Hopefully see the finished product later today now the wheels are done and exhaust arrived late last week. The wait is harder once you know it's in the country :-)

Nice changes, like night & day, really makes vehicle aggressive looking over the stock wheels. The stocks look like hubcaps and cheapens the look of the BMW IMO.

Cheers guys and yes I'm happy with the new wheels and still have the stock ones if I ever want to change. I was a little worried at first when the dealer offered to have them painted but glad he did now. The photos really don't do it justice.

Exactly, how do you like those LEDs?

Please post some feedback regarding the LED lights, Im retrofitting my car next week, but will love to get your findings, are they much whiter than Bi Xenon ?

Hi guys I have only driven the car once over a long period at night which was the evening I got it. About 7 hours and out in the middle of nowhere so no street lights and not much other traffic. I can say the LEDs are much brighter and whiter than the biX and love how the lights track the steering wheel so as soon as you move the steering wheel the lights will track in that direction.
In summary I believe the lights are worth it if you do a bit of night driving and hey the look pretty cool if you don't ?

I took this on the way home that night... Low beam in the middle of nowhere with zero moon light.. It was a bloody dark night. Sorry crap photo but it was late and a rough road but should give you some indication of the lights.

Agreed... although the brightness difference vs. xenon is debatable, they are instant on with full brightness and have a good adaptive tracking mechanism.

Plus, they are very photogenic
