Bumper Scratched, Replace??

Hey guys heres the dilemma I'm in. I just recently purchased a 2009 bmw x6 5.0. The bumper has a couple of scratches and will need to be repainted. It's going to cost me $500 to repaint the entire bumper. Do you guys recommend me using the $500 and maybe save up for the performance kit? Or would u just recommend me spray painting it for $500.

I don't know how much the performance kit is going to cost me. I however would like to change the look of my x6 but do not have that kind of money right now.

Do you have a picture?

If it's off the shelf spray paint it's unlikely to match the original paint and may look worse.

If you're strapped for cash (even though you can afford an X6!) don't spend $500 on the bumper, with time, someone will hit your bumper and hopefully they'll have insurance.

In the mean time, who cares what people think about your scratch, save up for your performance mod and enjoy the ride. Yolo!
