Winter mode - Holy hell the 214s are heavy
Winter mode
Tires are Blizzak DMV-2 275/40 - 20 square setup I noticed the difference in acceleration right away, car feels way more sluggish with the 214s vs my forged Rennens which weigh less than then 214s.

while the rim weight does make some difference, but I would be more than willing to say that's not the main cause for ur car feeling sluggish, it's all down to the DMV2s. they just stick to the road too much and the compound is very soft, which is what you want when there is snow and ice on the ground, but winters will hurt performance significantly in the dry, both in acceleration and cornering, also be prepared for a big drop in gas mileage

So you have the stretched setup on the rears, too? I hate the look of the rears on my winter setup (214 staggered replicas w/ 275/40/20 Scorpions on all four) but it's only for winter. Be careful of rear wheel curb rash!

Yes, the rears are stretched enough for me to fit in with the stanced stretch and poke crew

I have the same winter setup and find the Blizzaks to work great in deep snow. |

After putting some mileage on these, I thought I would update this post. Good winter tires were essential for me. Here is what a typical winter road looks like on the drive to our cottage
Snow at my destination I have to saw the blizzaks have been remarkable. Great grip in deep snow, and even better on ice.
