Yellow Headlights

I'm thinking of putting yellow film covers on both of my trucks, I like the old school european look of yellow headlights. I've done this on a lot of my E9X cars and it looked great unfortunately I don't have any pics...my only concern since I haven't seen anyone with an E70/71 do this to their headlights before is, do the headlights (non led) get too hot and would result in stress cracks on the lens if I attempted to do this?

Here is a pic for reference on an E36

Think it's a cool idea. A guy in a Facebook group I'm in did it. Left his name on one of the pictures incase you want to contact him. Good luck

That does look good! I already bought the yellow film and I'm pretty confident I can put it on myself...only thing holding me back is the weather for now. Hopefully it won't damage the lenses...I'm not on Facebook or any of those other silly social media sites so I can't contact him lol

Haha don't think you're missing too much. At this rate the weather shouldn't affect you too much. This winter is crazy. Good luck, look forward to seeing them at a meet or something when the weather clears up more. Sure they'll come out great

Looks like I'm going to have to wait for some warmer weather, I cut out my stencil and was gonna attempt to put the film on but the wind was kickin my ass lol

I decided to take a ride to Brooklyn and have the truck re-coded instead...thanks again
