Style 214 Wheels Question...
HI All!
I have a 2010 X5 4.8 base model with OEM 18" wheels. I would like to switch to the BMW style 214 20" and was wondering if they will fit because of the large front calipers. Any comments will be appreciated...thx! |

I would think they would since the wheels are bigger in diameter, but if the offset and the shape of the inside of the wheels is your concern, hopefully someone who's already done this upgrade would chime in and help out.

wheels
The answer is a resounding 'YES' you can. Because thats exactly what i did. No probs. Only thing is be prepared for a rougher ride. Funny though, BMW Australia say they wont fit these wheels unless the car has sports suspension.... which would make the ride even rougher again!!!
The only thing you will have to as a retrofit is to install the wider guard set as the wheels (mainly the rear) will project out of the car otherwise - which is illegal. |
