Color Question/Preference

Trying to choose between Black Sapphire Metallic or Platinum Gray Metallic. Owned Jet Black once and hated it, soft paint and hard to keep looking good. Black Sapphire is very attractive, but the, so is Platinum Gray. I am simply looking for feedback and opinions, it's a tough choice.

That's a great looking car, Jet Black soured me, in fact, I sold my Jet Black 335i after 6 months. Jet Black is very, very difficult to maintain. Does your Sapphire Black hide imperfections better? Bearing in mind that I am a totally OCD asshole!

I have the Sapphire and will be trading it in next year for Carbon Black. The Sapphire looks cheap - no depth to the color.

Is it now called Platinum Gray? Did they change from Space Gray Mettallic?

Thanks much for the feedback. In response, I currently have an Alpine White M3, so do love white, however, I need to make a choice between the Sapphire Black Metallic or the Platinum Gray Metallic (These are on the dealer lot) The Platinum Gray has third row seating which I do not require, and will subsequently cost a little more, so i thought that the Sapphire Black would be an option. I've always been a BIG fan of Space Gray, and based on the pictures all of you so kindly posted, I am going to go for the Platinum Gray.

Great choice! also a great color on the M3. I have an '05 Alpine White M3 Convertible with Imola red interior for the sunny days!
