Brake dust on doors! X5M
New Carbon Black, massive brake dust on doors!
Front intercooler radiators enable high airflow, sweeping any dust puffs well past fenders (2-4 mm of dust along back of fender) and onto doors. Carbon Black color was fortunate choice. Reserve tank light comes on with 4-5 gallons left, on a 22 gal tank. Then more aggressive warnings and even with 10 miles left, still have 2 gallons in the tank. Just give me exact gallons in tank. I can actually calculate from that. I can. Very soft ride. Run Flats. Way softer than X5. Must be the EDS. M button transforms luxury ride from soccer mom to beastmode. Most passengers grab top and huddle in back right corner of seat. Myself included when a certain retired racer who runs a foreign shop in Ohio had it up to 108 on 45 degree ramp turn. Then he told my Dad I yelled at him. This is one sick machine. The Bavarians are madmen. |

The brake dust = great brakes, just get used to cleaning it because dustless pads ruin the brake feel.
Love the reserve warnings on the interstate when fuel stops are 40 miles apart, my Lexus gave a 15 mile warning and was un-noticeable - take the BMW warning over that anyway. Nice to see your only 2 complaints can barely be considered complaints - enjoy the beast and go drive it instead of wasting time on the Internet!
