Land Rover New Discovery & Transparent Bonnet tech!

Might be of some interest to some people on here, Land Rover just released images/video of their new Land Rover Discovery, albeit a concept at the moment but is due for release next year.

Along with it looking fairly sharp it has got some awesome new technology in concept including 'Transparent Bonnet' for help in off-road situations.

It's not a Discovery, god only knows why LR have done this but I can't see many current Disco owners being tempted by it, it's lost it's rough edge, it now looks far to RRSport, the Disco needs it's own look, not just another version of the Evoque theme.

I love the new FFRR and RRS but that design falls flat on its face as a 'Disco'. I'm sure dynamically it will blow away the old car, but the looks of this concept just doesn't hold true to the history of the original and subsequent designs.

That's sooooo cool, especially for people that go off road, that is a game changer. No need to make your buddy get out and be a "spotter"!!

Oh, and i Guarantee........this will be shown by Clarksons Top Gear!!!

PS.....and if Im Jeep/Chrysler, i would be on the phone with LR giving them Boat loads of Money, to have quick access to this technology.
Can you Imagine all the Jeeps line up having this feature? Sales would go through the roof!
