You can when you hook your BMS unit up to the laptop, although I don't think it's recommended. What fuel are you running? I was told to set it to 3 pounds of boost over stock on 91 octane, or 4-5 pounds of boost over stock on 93 octane.

Thank you for the reply. I always without a doubt use 93 super. I noticed the computer connector on the bms unit.. Is there a program to download? I wouldn't even know where to start, I am Computer literate tho

You can get the PDF install instructions from Turners website. Instructions are pretty straight forward for the "tuning" part especially since you already have the unit installed.
You may have to get the cable from them if you don't already have one. |

Cobb Accessports are $500'ish new. I bought mine from Import Image Racing. Not sure where/when the price hike came from. For my Subaru they are under $500, and I bought one for my ford focus recently for $350.
Buy this model AP-BMW-002, (Which you have to confrm your VIN works with it, as only certain N55 units work) and then enable beta maps and away you go. Do not buy from Cobb, and shop around, you'll often shave a couple hundred at other places that sell Cobb, or buy used. (make sure it's unmarried) |

I thought about this before. I scrapped the idea since I couldn't figure out how to push the BMS usb data cable through the firewall. I may go the Cobb route if it's compatible with my year, but it is $895 and on backorder for 9-10 weeks.

Wow & they want you to pay now too, what a crock of sh*t. The V3 is 895 but the old units can be found on eBay for 300$. But like Mitch said gotta make sure it's not married. People now a days will make a quick Buck$ and say they messed up on the description.
