New Custom Intake and Exhaust.

Just about finished with the intake, just need to throw some filters on. I should have some cone filters from K&N ready to go tomorrow. I'm waiting on some real nice dual cone filters from BMC but the K&Ns will do in the meantime. I additionally had a set of Ultimate Racing downpipes that I had ceramic coated put on during the install of the intake and exhaust.

The exhaust is complete and the whole system including intake, exhaust and downpipes are night and day different from what I was running previously. I can actually hear the turbos spooling and the BOV which is really nice. My only complaint is that the cold start is still a little loud but other then that I couldn't be happier.

I will try to get some up in the next day or two but it most likely won't be until the weekend. I head to LA tomorrow to get a tune and some time on the dyno. I will try and get some videos on the dyno and will def. post the info. from my pulls on the dyno.

Tim @ SFR does awesome work. I had him make a dual intercooler setup for a Greddy twin turbo Infinti I had about 10 years ago.

What mufflers are you using? I've spoken with a reputable M5 intake and exhaust manufacturer who was very impressed with your intake, but then we got to talking about exhaust. I've had the all piping and x-pipe sitting in my garage for a few months because I decided I didn't wanna go full muffler delete since I'm already getting some drone with catless downpipes, so he recommended using Vibrant 1794 mufflers, which I've ordered. I'm looking forward to your sound clips of the intake AND exhaust :-)

I'm using the Vibrant 1142 3" Ultra Quiet Resonator which is a little bit bigger then the Vibrant 1794 but I don't know if I would mind a set up that was a little louder. To compare my current set up is just a touch quieter then it was with no downpipes and with the stock exhaust removed and just straight pipes on.
