That's what I went with. Not disappointed.

Actually they vary greatly from their entry line to their top-of-the-line.

I have been trying out TV's for the past 4 weeks. I have already had MU9000, X800e, X850e, and now this next coming week will be delivered the X900e. I have seen the X900e is one of the best reviewed 75 inch TV's that's out right now. I just need something perfect for the amount of money paid. I would def skip over the MU9000, terrible TV for how much they are asking. Sony has some of the best TV's out this year. Use rtings.com and you will find what you want.

oh yeah if you can afford it, I couldn't afford the 75 inch. This is one of the brightest LED TV's out right now.

did you semi-calibrate it yet? i did with the rtings info and it much improved the pic (i hate that manufacturers use the soap opera video setting as default)

I'm looking for a 4K projector for my media room but this one is good for my daily. There is not even close to enough 4K content, so its kind of a waste. I use AMZN streaming and have some movies, but I'm mostly watching freaking 1080i on Cable TV.

Yep.
Although I have been VERY tempted to grab a 4k OLED, not only is there not enough content, but I am hard pressed to replace my mammoth 80" 1080p which gets the job done quite well.
Currently, I am building a new house r with a Media Room. I won't settle for anything less than a 120in Silver screen and 4k Projector setup.
That gives me time to weigh all options between now and November for completion date.

Nothing can beat the enjoyment of watching anything on a projector once you have it. Those 4k projectors are still pretty pricey and the supports (contents) are lagging big time.

I just got my media room done last year with a 120' screen. Still on the fence whether to hire someone to calibrate the projector as they are quite pricey. We use the room 3-4 times a month only.

El Jeffe. That is most unfortunate.
I can't remember if we discussed this in the Home Theater thread... But, I have nothing but great experience from Vizio! My 80in went literally 12 months with zero issues. And into the 12th month after factory warranty expired, I had like literally 5 dead pixels. In the grand scheme of things, my family and others couldn't even notice it. But I did. I call them. They requested 3 detailed photos that I simply uploaded and they sent me a brand new (not refurbished) TV! So they are great in my book and this one has gone over the year mark working flawlessly.

I was in the market for a 75" model around Black Friday and ended up picking up the LG75SJ85070 based on this recommendation: https://thetechreviewer.com/tech-tip...70-inch-4k-tv/

Absolutely love it so far! It has all the necessary HDR support, great integrated speakers (Harmon Kardon FTW) as well as webOS which I think is far superior to Samsung's integrated Smart TV operating systems which was in my older 65-inch TV.

Sure I don't have the benefits of OLED although neither do I have the budget for that lol. For under $2.5K, it has all the bells and whistles that I expect.
