Removing Rear Bumper X6M

I bought some painted reflectors to replace the factory ones on my 2014 X6M. You have to remove the bumper cover to install them. I am not sure if this is something I can do myself, has anyone done this? If so can you offer me any advice on this process?

They should pop off without removing bumper. I am assuming this. I have an X5M and they pop off on my truck. Snap back in.

If you do indeed need to remove the bumper ask the guys at execuhitch to send you their X6 hitch install instructions. Very detailed. I've done it twice. You will need to buy 6-8 one-time use pop rivets that secure the bumper cover inside the wheel well.

It is different on the X6, they are held in place by a screw that is inside the bumper.
