I installed Avin 12” android and had to get the auxiliary cable to the center console, had to remove the side trim in order to get the cable to the center console and now i can’t reinstall it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Had the same issue, took me 2 days to figure out.

Unfortunately you have to remove the top wood trim. Then you can re-install the upper leather trim, then remount the wood trim. There was no way for the upper leather trim to get back under the wood trim. There are 3 torx bolts holding the wood trim down. One in the front, one in middle and one in rear of the center console. The one in the front (on passenger side) is really hard to get too since you have no room for a torx socket. May have to use an allen-key torx set to access the bolt.

If you don't have rear entertainment system it should be fairly easy to access the rear bolt, just remove that rear trim piece directly behind the center glove box and above the rear HVAC system vents. Middle torx bolt is under the center trim (directly in front of the center glove box). Once those are out, the trim is held on by retaining clips.

Thanks!! It's been like that for months, lol....the center console has to be pulled out in order to remove the wood trim correct?

Pulled out complete? No not necessary. You can probably access the torx bolt with a shallow tool. Or you can slide the center console back about an inch or so. There is a bolt underneath the rear part of the center console (under all the rear hvac system). But you'll probably have to remove a ton of side bolts as well. It's heavily over engineered

Finally was able to install the side trim and now I'm stuck on how to get the center trim on.

Yeah mine was a little tough to get back in as well. You'll have to take the center trim off first. The cup holder trim has to go in first.

I just squeezed the front edges inwards and was able to snap in the rest. For some reason, when I put both side wood trim pieces in, they didn't go perfectly back to same position. Also, use two plastic cards (CC or drivers license) to create a ramp for the front part of the trim. There is a YT vid on it.
