Hey John...

The M3 steering wheel is SOOOO---> much better than the M-tech steering wheel though. When I was in Long's car, I fell in love with that M3 steering wheel.

For M3 steering wheel, Don't you have to cut little bit for OEM paddle?

I have been considering on upgrading my M-tech to the M3 one too.

I thought there was going to be a big difference, but I compared them side by side yesterday. The thickness is the same. The only difference is the M-tech has perforated leather on the sides, and the M3 one has the tri-color stitching. The absence of perforated leather on the sides is what sets the M3 one apart in terms of feel, as the perforated leather feels a little harder with a slightly rougher texture.

I prefer the M3 steering wheel because of its lack of perforated leather, but whether it's worth the extra premium to swap it in depends upon your sensitivity to this relatively small difference in feel...unless of course you need to have that tri-stitching look.
