VF Hex Tune

I just got a 2013 X5M and I need more power immediately! I haven't really seen many people with the VF Hex tune on here and I'm wondering why. From my limited research it seems like these guys are putting down the best numbers.
So why haven't more people jumped on this?
Are there dyno #'s not taken at the wheel?
what am I missing?

VF Hex Tuning
Stage 1 (gain approx 75hp/100tq) USD $1695.
Stage 2 (gain approx 120hp/170tq) USD $2295.

Who cares about numbers? Dyno's are a tool for measurement, and they can be influenced by operators at any point in time. A flea's fart could swing a dyno +/- 5%.

Look for the area under the curve, and top notch support. Perhaps you don't hear about VF Hex tuning is because they are not contributing on this board.

That being said, you're not too far from them, you can do better than most people by far, by getting a custom dyno tune in person, rather than a generic mail-order map with compromises built into them.

Appreciate the feedback. What do you mean by "look for the area under the curve"?

The amount of power an engine makes over the entire RPM range.

Having 400ft/lbs at 3000RPM is much more desirable than having it happen at 6k rpm... At least on the street.

Look at the dyno graphs, that hump, all of that area UNDER the curve is what matters. Where does the power come on? Where does it peak? Where does it drop off? All of these things matter in the overall drive-ability of the car.

So what tune would be your personal preference?
