Hi guys has anyone had any problems with smoke filling the cab every now and again?

No
You have a leak in the exhaust manifold . You could die of monoxide poisoning. Get it repaired.

I'd bet its a cracked EGR Cooler. It's a common issue with the diesels, which would result in some exhaust in the cabin

Are both of the issues listed above common? Expensive?
