HIFI AMP
My amp has died, a replacement HIFI AMP is really expensive , is there anything I can do instead of buying a replacement. I understand my set up is on the fibre optic cable but I’m happy to consider anything. Thanks

Easiest option would be finding one used. Search the part number on Ebay. Otherwise there are some really good audio threads on this forum. You can also look at other platforms as the systems are mostly the same on all later model E chassis BMWs.

I believe you can get a harness from this company to use a standard amp as replacement. But by the time you’ve purchased a harness, power cables, and a stock amp, you may be better off just getting a used amp.

Same problem. I picked up one off eBay and found the connector as well on eBay.

honestly you can go the used route or just complete overhaul the entire sound system with the alpha one amp and speakers entirely up to you but i did the alpha one upgrade and honestly 10/10 recommendation over factory sound system and their amp allows for box sub in the trunk if you’re into that kind of thing
