2002 X5 190,000 miles

Recently came across a 2002 BMW X5 for sale but the owner stated it started one day then wouldn't start the next and they don't have the time to look into it. In the market for a 2nd vehicle preferably suv, thoughts on this?

I'm looking for a winter beater/daily as i currently have a 2016 340 and would like to start building that but don't want to build that while its my only vehicle.

Did you go look at it? Have pics? Going to need a whole lot more information.

Is it the M54 I6 or the M60 V8? Is it in good condition (probably not if it doesn't start)? Are you mechanically inclined?
