My DVD Changer doesn't accept DVDs? No sound, let alone picture in NAVI!

I've tried so many different DVD regions in the changer, and I just want sound, but for some reason, it doesn't accept them! The changer shows an "invisible" DVD1 when I insert the DVD, as if there isn't anything at all. Anyone else have this problem?

What about the in dash DVD player, on mine that doesn't work either for some reason.

My in dash player plays movies with sound so you should be able to be sound and pic only when you are in park. When you put it in grear it shuts off.

The only play in park is generally a USA restriction.
