OK, after much deliberation...upgrading from an 08 50 to an X6 M, Melbourne with..?
I'm thinking silverstone, the bamboo is too "yellowish" or beige to be sporty, and I'm bored of black! Opinions? Oh yeah, and no Skahir orange, the car is loud enough as it is!
Absolutely no roof rails and placed every other option this time around. Really looking forward to the comfort seats after strangely having my current '08 50i with sport package with standard seats! Here are the upgrades over my 50 that really pushed me to the X6 M: 1- Sheer power and brute force (am a little worried about the exhaust sound, keep hearing that the 50 has a meaner grunt) 2- Exterior styling 3- Color (love Melbourne) 4- comfort seats with ventilation and heating 5- upgraded stereo, I'm a huge classic rock, progressive rock, classical music kinda guy and am not really blown away with the L7 6- HUD 7- new iDrive 8- Backup camera (resolution and boot up times are really embarrassing on mine) Should I keep my ferric grey 215 on the M or keep the M rims??? Wow! Congrats man! I'm sure you will love the M.
I would keep your Ferric Grey 215's ... I think they look much better than the M wheels! Also, on you 50i, you had the standard sport seats, right? Not the "standard" seats? What didn't you like about the sport seats? |

Red with brown is too Italian in my opinion, more suitable for a Ferrari. I think I will go with Silverstone and black carbon leather trim. As for the wheels, I will start with the Ms and after a while, switch to the the Ferrics.
Can't wait, dealer says I pick mine up in a little over a month, since I picked up another guy's production allocation spot. He had ordered a silverstone exterior with black merino, which i found to be quite bland, coming from a black on black |

I have the Silverstone II full leather with the Carbon trim in my new X6M. Here is some pictures of the interior.
The M wheels in my opinion do look good. They are 20 inch versus your 21 inch. They also have little M logos installed. They also look good while going down the road as they produce a good look when spinning. Tires should be less in the 20 inch size. |

i think the silver interior is too bright... i'd be worried about getting it dirty
i ordered my x5 w/ saddle interior because it didn't have the two tone dash which I hate.
