Factory Recall - X5M

Just got a notice from BMW.
They are recalling the 2010 X5M.
Although there are Front Side Marker Lights on the vehicle, BMW did not install the power supply cables leading to the lamps.
Anyone know - what's up with that???

Its what happens when you lose focus and start making to many cars.

Really?! So if you make a turn in them the signal doesn't light at all?! Kind of a big "oops" and don't think it would have taken them a year to figure this out.

They were probably trying to cut costs again. Soon they will forget to install the airbags.

That's an old story. About 750 X5M from a few month's production were affected by this little mishap, not the entire prodcution.
