TPMS frequency question

I have a 2012 X5 35i w/ M Sport pkg w/20" rims. I bought a used set of 19's rims/tires wTPMS and center caps that came off a 2013 X5 50i w/M Sport pkg. is the frequency for the TPMS the same for both wheel sets? I'm asking because my local BMW service advisor said it may not be compatible so take it easy on me! Thank you!
Btw, I got the whole set for 1k. Tires had less than 10 miles and rims are mint!

The sensors were changed in the end of 2010. You should be fine.
