X5M 21" Correct Tire Pressure
Can someone please let me know the correct tire pressure for an X5M with 21's and Michelin Pilot Super Sports. The sticker on my door jamb is for 20"
UPDATE: I found the correct tire pressures for 21" Tires. The first number is for light loads, the second number is for heavy loads. This information comes out of page 250 of the manual. 285/35/21 105Y XL 35Psi/41Psi 325/30/21 108Y XL 42Psi/46Psi Last edited by Crazy1323; 09-17-2015 at 09:23 AM.. |

PSI is static. if you had a 15" wheel or a 26", you would still use the sticker in your door as the recommended value.
Ideally... Use the door value. Rub a 1" line of chalk across the entire thread from inside to outside. Drive in a straightline, do not turn for about 10 car lengths. Look at chalk line. Where is it worn more? Inside? deflate 1-2psi. Outside? Inflate 1-2psi. Test again.

Heck you could even follow the tire specs, at the expense of running abnormally high. What you see on the car is based on car/load weight.

not sure where your numbers are coming from, but in the M owner's menu, it says 38/38 for up to 100mph, 45/46 for over 100mph
38/38 seems to be the baseline that 20s and 21s are set to |
