X5M in the Wild
This is where I spend half of my time in the X5M....off roads. It's truely a useful beast, I also tow 3-4 times per week around 5-6000 lbs. The X just loves it. Now at 119,000 miles looking forward to 200,000
Enjoy,

LOL, for every great story we hear about the warranty saving your bacon, we hear a couple about how the warranty company did not cover you issues. It's a toss up. I sleep fine at night.

How often do you need to clean out the air filters taking the beast off road? Do you bottom out at all over bumps with the front bumper? This just goes to show you, just because these M's pass 50k miles doesn't mean they instantly fall apart

I used to have a Lexus LX570 (Landcruiser with fancy leather) with 33" BFG Mud Terrains, it was amazing off road.
I'm too scared to take the X5M offroad so far! |

I agree, I don't take the X on anything to technical as far as off road goes. Mostly in and out of vineyards all day. I just mean that I do spend alot of time off pavement. And the X is awesome, I pulled a trailer to the top of where I took that pictures when it was raining and muddy. The beast has too much power and you can pretty much accomplish anything you want.
That picture was taken in what I call no mans land, because you are a good 45 minutes from town and no phone signal, I love it out there.
