New 2010 X6 50i - wow....

Hey fellow Bimmers,
Just wanted to share that recently took delivery of my new 2010 X6 50i, space gray with black leather, pretty much loaded to the gills including the 7RR performance package. Coming from a 2008 35i this is a great upgrade and I couldn’t be more pleased with the new baby. This may be a long 1,200 miles break in period as every time I fire it up and hear the rumble of the exhaust note I can't wait to 'get on it' – but am being patient during break in. The improvements in the iDrive are very noticeable (the new nav graphics are great) premium sound system sounds awesome, and overall first impressions after just 250 miles are nothing but positive - am very pleased so far. I also wanted to say that my purchase experience working with BMW NA and my dealer Schomp BMW in Denver was impeccable and as complete and professional as it gets – they totally earned my loyalty through this experience (first time have ever plugged a car company or dealer but this is a reflection of my personal experience). Overall on the 2010 X6 and the entire purchase experience my assessment in a word is – Impressive! To all you current, and soon to be owners - I hope you enjoy as much as I am. Maybe next time will go for the M – but *nothing* not to love so far about this 2010 X6 50i. Happy New Year everyone – drive hard, drive safe, have fun!

Why did you end up working with BMWNA? Did you have problems with your 2008 and they helped with a buyback process to get you into a new one?

I went through this process with my 2008 and I must say that BMWNA was great to work with as well once you talk to people high enough up the food chain that can make real decisions and not the customer service people that answer the phone. My service director at my dealer had a connection higher up at BMWNA and ultimately helped me get a few thousand more from them

I am in Denver, too. Schomp has been awesome to me through 4 different purchases, plus dinan work, everything. I will hopefully have car in 10 days. Will be on the lookout for space gray. Mine is monoco blue.
