Motor soon to blow, X5M E70

Caught it before it went.

Since my car warranty, is flipping out that the repair is 30k but they have to cover it, full exclusionary policy and paid like 7k for it, prior to this repair, they paid 8k for all kinds of work, month later, found the chain guides blew up and all in the oil pick up line.

Im considering getting the M5 Turbos (bored by Turbo Labs) and exhaust manifolds if i am going to get a forged motor, its less than new one from BMW, budget for motor is 20k, so i have some room for other parts..

Only real concern is front axles and transfer case, the two weak points, you can put M5 axles on the rear, but no one makes anything for the fronts, might have to get something custom made..

Got 18k check to get motor replaced. More than enough to do it right.

That's nice. Congrats. Are you going to try and fix that one or get a donor motor?

My engine is all assembled, but now need to consider building a garage as I currently have limited workshop space/time.

Know any good garage builders for a 40x30? I'm on the east coast.

I am rebuilding, and don't need a donor.
As for garage building, I would do it myself. lol
