New BMW X5 owner

We used to have an Audi Q7 which we traded in yesterday for a brand new X5 40D with the Dynamic pack and media pack plus third row with 20 inch Y's and the top view camera. So far so good, although the ride (with the added sports suspension is much firmer than on our Q7 S line which had adaptive air suspension. Got a reasonable deal from the dealer although we bought one of their stock cars as it was specc'd how we wanted it, and in a great colour too (platinum grey). Here are a few pics taken between rain showers

And this is what is under the bonnet:

WE took the car for a 50 mile round trip down to the Gower peninsula so she got her first dirt! She is definitely a firmer ride than the Q7, but has some real urgency.

My brother in law's often failing X5 is the one behind - if it's electrical and essential for knowing how far you've gone or how much fuel you have left, it doesn't work!
