Anyone preorder a 2011 yet? I have been looking to purchase an x6 but cant find any i want with the options and colors im looking for. They said best thing to do is just preorder a 2011. Was told it would be here mid may...and i would get about $1,000 off the msrp...does that sound right? isnt that a bit too soon for a 2011 and has anyone gotten more than $1,000 off?

just finished ordering my 2011 today. 3k off msrp but no perf package avail.

nice..congrats!...what kind and from where did you get it? if you dont mind me askin...what was the total?..im going in on SUnday to get mine...how long did they tell you till you will get it?

msrp was 84k. said prob april. gonna do a performance pickup in S. Carolina and pick her up personally.

If you pick it up in South Carolina how far is the drive to your destination? Keep in mind the break-in period. See Attached.

yea i thought about that. the BMW performance pick up is in South Carolina. I live in South Florida. approx 700 miles. wonder if i can do break it on highway by varying speeds.

beware the running boards. They look great, but all they function for is to get your pant leg dirty

You're aware there's really no getting rid of the running board, right?

If you don't get the optional "running board" non-slip metallic cover the ledge the running board metal surface sits on is still there regardless.

Seems to me the running board option makes it stick out another 2 inches or so. Here it is with some nice dirt and debris from the current snowstorm. You can even see where my pant leg dusted it.
