Adaptive Brake Lights in US?

When you brake normally, the back lights go on as normal; when you brake in an emergency, they blink several times per second to warn the cars behind. I think they have this in Europe, can we get this in the US?

What they really do is, when you brake too hard the hazard lights will blink until you finish braking.
