So what did you end up doing to get the LED headlights to work correctly? New FRM?

I too noticed the instructions said not to replace FRM, but like everyone, I also had to replace it to get 100% function.

PITA but they look SO nice. Like a brand new SUV. Huge upgrade.

My only issue sinse the bigginier was the SMC passenger side module was unplugged that's y I couldn't get any communication when we were Codding.
So if u have issue with one side the other one automatically locks up and give u the error no communication
Thanks God I was able to check that plug it back in and good to go

Ahhh yes, SMC module under headlight would do it. Next time read diagnostics with BMW computer, that may help glad it is all set
