Rear Climate issue?

I seem to have an issue with the temperature settings in the back seats. The driver's side rear temp control can be adjusted to a desired setting, but the passenger side doesn't.

Is this a problem with the temp control knobs or a known issue? I checked the Climate settings on my iDrive and have it set up where the controls are independent of the front seats.
