Grats on the new ride. I enjoyed my time on two wheel terrors, however I found I enjoyed tracking good cars more. I've been tempted to check out the Diavel on more than one occasion however.

Dabaitu, I'd buy one of their cars if it sounded like and went like this one. Oh my goodness what a beast! I've had many sportbikes (and a Harley) and this one craps on all of them. The Diavel is a beast as well, just not my cup of tea. Stop being of soft cock and pick one up

KT, you know everything I have is for my Son (eventually) I wasn't allowed to have the same number plate on the car and bikes so it was the next best.

Amjam, thanks mate me too! The Harley was just not me and I was actually looking at buying one of these when I bought the Harley. The only good thing is I didn't loose money on selling it!

It is certainly a gorgeous bike and it is such a pleasure to ride.

For a bit of info, 0 - 100kms in the Lambo Aventador is a bit under 3 seconds and quarter mile is almost 11 seconds and the bike 0 - 100 is a bit over 3 seconds and quarter mile is 9.9 seconds.

I am yet to confirm both those numbers though

Did you buy through frasers at broadmeadow or Sydney?

One of my mates bought his 1198s new through frasers at broadmeadow had a few major issues (4 x oil leaks, tyre mounted on backwards, seized brake caliper, warped rotors) he ended up getting rid of it due to all the issues

Bought it locally, vowed many years ago to never buy a bike from them and unfortunately I am almost regretting it now.

After I got it home I noticed there were some small scratches on the plastic display surround, called them, took the bike in so they could take photos.

I get a call today and they tell me Ducati Aust (Fraser's!) aren't going to reimburse the dealership as it's not a warranty issue and it is up to the dealer (Fraser's) to sought.

Their solution was to get me to purchase from Ebay a carbon fibre surround to cover the scratches and they would reimburse by taking the cost off my first service.

As I'm sure you would imagine I told them to stick that "solution" up their arse and I will only accept the display screen being replaced under warranty.

The farken hide of them!

It's still gorgeous though.
