Nevada Cinnamon Brown???

Trying to choose between Nevada Cinnamon Brown or Tobacco w/ white exterior.

Anyone have any real life pictures? I dont want to make a custom order and the cinnamon brown shows up at my house looking like an orange caramel color.

THANKS!

I saw Cinnamon in person and decided to go with it - shows up much more orange in pictures than it really is, definitely more brown than what saddle used to be. After I saw tobacco I didn't like it as the rugs are tobacco as are the plastics on the seats and bottom of the dash as well as pretty much the entire door panels - was just too much brown in my book, I like the contrast with the black rugs and plastics with cinnamon leather that is just the seats surfaces and door inserts.

I have saddle in my car and it photographs very orange also for some reason, it is a bit darker than the saddle, like an actual cinnamon stick, less orange and a little darker than saddle.

The first two look more orange than in person even for saddle which is what they are I think, 3rd one looks the closest, but is a bit lighter/oranger than in real life - the swatch on the web is actually pretty close.

I think most of the "orange" color might be a result of color temp problems. The simplest way to address that (mostly) is to take the picture with good camera with a bright white piece of paper (printer paper usually) in a corner of the shot that can be cropped out, and use that part of the image to do a white balance correction. That should consistently get closer to actual color (even better if the pic is taken in natural lighting conditions, or if the color temp can be compensated for by other means).

I hope someone takes up the challenge, I'd really like to see this color for what it really is so I can show my wife (she might like it for a future vehicle). Our dealer hasn't had any examples recently.

I have a Canon G10 that I know will photograph it correctly and am happy to take pics once it arrives in a week or so, just might not be soon enough for those of you trying to make a decision on it, but will post up once I have the car!

Nice! Can't wait to see the new pics although those aren't bad. I think given there there were bright white stickers in the frame of the shot as well as being taken in natural lighting conditions, the camera did a decent job of capturing the color. Your camera will probably do better.

Now, too bad we don't all have ISF color calibrated monitors :-)

If you're leasing then go with what you like. However, if buying, please keep in mind that newer less routine interior colors like this are not to everyone's taste and can adversely affect resale value. I have bought a shopped for a lot of used cars and can tell you that when I see a clean car for sale that is lower in price than expected, it usually has this sort of different interior. So, if you want it to be shopped by as many buyers as possible, or get top trade in value for sure, keep that in mind and stick to the more boring, usual interior schemes. Beige, Black, Gray. Dealers are not dumb and will offer you less in trade if they think they'll have trouble moving a car with an unconvential interior.

That said, does anyone think the "oyster" Nevada leather interior would be considered oddball? It's seems to be very light gray with black plastic dash/etc. A two tone effect. I know this scheme in more vivid designs (seats themselves two-tone) are all the rage in some other brands (VW CC comes to mind) and the word is that they helped sell those cars.

I think the tobacco leather looks great, btw. But note that some of the plastic components can look a little orangish in some light.
