Hi Everyone,

My plans have changed and I am no longer installing this wheel. It is brand new.

BMW Part # is 32 30 7 846 671.

It has Nappa leather - you will need to provide trim, airbag, and switches and paddles.

This wheel is designed for a BMW E70 X5 (2007-2013) or BMW E71 X6 (2008-2014) that has paddle shifters and does NOT have Lane Keep Assist (LKAS).

If you don't have the heated steering wheel option on your car, you can either wire it or simply leave it unplugged, it won't hurt anything.

Retail on this wheel is over $1000 - cheapest price I have seen online is $816.62.

Will sell for $590 shipped - Paypal only. I can also list it on Ebay if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Please note, once you buy it you own it - no returns - you need to research fitment issues before committing to a purchase.

Please see attached pictures. I will provide receipt for warranty purposes.

Thanks,

Chris

I'm looking at an e70 M without cold weather. What is entailed in "wiring" this for a car without the heated steering wheel and how much would that part (the switch) be?

A good thread to check out is this one -

http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...rofit-diy.html

1st post lists out all the parts. On the 2nd page of the thread, I basically outlined how to do the whole project via video.

Switches are not bad, if I recall about $200. Check BMW of Morristown, they have good prices on parts. Google them. Should take you to a site called Trademotion.

It's not a bad project, just time consuming. Mundo74 listed out all the parts which is great.

Let me know if I can get you a good deal on the steering wheel, I'd like to have someone use it instead of sitting in my closet. It's brand new unused.

will keep that in mind! hoping to find a build WITH the CWP so I can save the hassle... good to know that if the CWP is only thing missing the wheel option can be added relatively simply.

Yes, starting in 2011 they re-arranged the packages, and X6s came with heated seats standard, so most didn't opt for the CWP (strange I know) so keep an eye out. You are right, its not a deal-breaker, good luck on the hunt.
