Thanks for the word on the LCI (or lack thereof). I was hoping to order a new X6 this spring/summer with the LCI. Now I'll have to wait.

If its possible to get in Europe, I would be willing to help some members out. I am active duty Military in Germany and could Pick it up tax free and ship it for far less than the dealer could. kick me a few bones and maybe I can afford to get a seat for myself...LOL

Where did you get this? Could you send it to me on email? From what I can see it looks like the "steering wheel" is new. My German is bad but monodirektionalen schaltwippen(code 255) looks and sounds like there will be a change in how to change gear. Down on the left and up on the right. Like the DCT! The black rims are also not possibel to order in Norway!

I guess i am in the minority. I love having 4 seats. It keeps me from being a bus driver. Also requires me to be a bit more selective after a night out.

It is not ment to be a family suv, but I work as a salesperson and there is a lot of people asking why they dident make it a 5 sete!

I dont need it but for resale I am going to wait.

They will change the gearchanger to the same as the dct!! That will be nice!

Sorry Milhouse, this is all I have.
Google will provide a crude translation.

I'm interested what the Apps are. Does anyone know?

My dealer just got a confirmation from Munich that x6 LCI will not happen before October 2012 (he wrote them an email and got a response from them and wrote me an email). So I kind of do have it in writing In case I order one I will not want to wait until Oct 2012.

I do not like the current leather in the steering wheel, I hope they change it with this new monodirektionalen schaltung option, but that is highly unlikely. Did anyone put in an x6M steering wheel after purchase. Does it work to replace only the wheel and the functions (old buttons) can stay?

But i hate X5
I want X6 only and i want to fit my family members
If this wasnt meant to be family SUV, they can simply make it as one
Rear bench should be an option IMO

How do i take my both parents when i have a carseat?

I have exact same problem now in my 335i

Yea and it would be weird to have mom sitting on dad's lap....WHILE YOU ARE IN THE SAME CAR Andrey ATC!!!!

If straws are not available, suggest paper/rock/scissors or arm wrestling.

I have traded in my 335 for the X6M, but I did not plan on using it for the main family hauler. My wife's lexus gx serves that purpose. It does provide more room than the 335 but you wont get any more than you can fit now in the 335. But it is a hell of a lot more fun to drive!

Do we know whether this option is available for US?

Sticky with 2012 updates for X6 does not show it

If I had 3 anorexic girlfriends , they would have a tough time sitting in the back.

If 3-series sedan can fit 3 people in the back (my best friend does it in his E90 335i), X6 will definetelly have less issues with space
I just want to make sure i can take one couple while transporting wife and a toddler

Or, in future, 2 carseats and wife in the back seat between carseats

I have owned E90's and E92's. Yes I know you "can" fit 3 people. But who would want to ? That's a torturous ride for those involved. Look at the picture and tell me that those people are comfortable. You can say that you can fit 4 people in the back of an E90. But we are talking about comfort here. The average american is not 5'1 and 78 lbs.
