I just installed mine last night. It's not hard just lack of space to work around in. You have to reach in to disconnect and connect the wiring harness with one hand. Took me about 10 mins each side. Probably could've done it in 5 if I had smaller hands hah.

alex i was trying again last night and took the bulbs out but theres not enough slack on the wire/ my hands arent small enough to unclip the power part of the bulb... any tips on how ya got that done?? ( ie flat tip screw driver, by hand etc) the working space is crazy small i could barely get my hand in and out

If it's too tight, you can remove or pull the headlights forward but it's not necessary.

Yea, everyone suggested to unclip the wire harness from the bulb first but I found it easier to remove the bulb first. So I removed the bulb and held the base of the bulb with one hand using my index finger (same hand) tip to unclip it.

There should be a '+' and '-' on the connector of the Weisslicht harness. The '+' connects to the black wire of the OEM harness. I found out the hard way hah.

Can anybody comment on how these might compare to the Lux v2's?

These all look good at night. The key is , how do they look during the day ? Most are almost invisible in sunlight.

I installed those in my M6 about a month ago. I liked them but they kept giving me a "light out" code on the dash display. I ended up taking them out because the warning and constant chime drove me nuts. They may have fixed that problem since then.

finished the install tonight, 15 min each light. Def tricky as hell with normal sized hands but thats just BMW's problem with the space given not the product. Lights look good so far no codes or anything as of tonight when I drove around the block. I'll take some pics during the day and let you guys know if any codes throw

Happy new year brothers
