X5M winter tire question

I am in the process of buying 2010 X5 M that comes with stock Bridgestone Dueler H/P runflat summer tires. I assume 275/40R20 front and 315/35R20 rear.

I want to mount 4 Michelin Latitude Alpin snow tires on stock rims. TireRack shows 275/40R20 for all 4. Is it possible to mount 275/40R20 tires on the rear using stock rims (ie. 315/35R20)?

Due to budget constraint I can't afford a V spoke 298M winter wheel package from BMW so would like to re-use the stock rims for snow tires. Any suggestions?

Congrats on the ride!

What color?

Just did pirelli scorpion ice run flats with 275/40/20.

Rears do look a little stretched. Need to watch curbs a bit more.

My Audi dealer sourced the run flats from Vancouver one week ago. He indicated there were still 6 in the Toronto warehouse. Paid $2400, but got the run flats!

I'm in your boat. Don't like the 19's BMW dealer sells. Powdercoating stock 20" rims this summer. Calgary powdercoaters charged ~$90 / rim for my BBS Ch's

Any mods yet??

Mine is blue color. I just ordered Michelin Latitude Alpin 275/40/R20 non-runflat all around. Tirerack $840+$84 shipping. Kaltire in Calgary $1680+5% tax and 6 months of waiting. Tires are being shipped from Indiana to Houston. Will fly to Houston in Feb to pick the car up.
