Fault in passenger restraint system

Left the car today at carwash to get detailed. When I come back to pick it up I see Fault in passenger restraint system. Car wash people say they didn't do anything ? Any idea why this msg pop-up ? Is it because they drained the battery ? Best way to clear it ?

Thank you in advance for any help or advice you can provide !

Garage List
Sorry for bringing this up again. But I just filed an NHTSA complaint on this.

There was a virtually same problem with 2005 - 2007 BMW vehicle (SEE NHTSA code 08V384000) and they had a recall.

I was asked to pay $1800 for fix and ended up paying $1500... Mine is 2009 X5 30i and I had same error screen as you did..

If anyone else is having the same issue, you should chip in and file a complaint to NHTSA. We may be able to get a refund for the fix.
