[Canadian 335xi]

I want to learn about the back-end flash, what it does, what options I have, etc. I seem to get bits and pieces here, but they are not even consistent in the information.

I would really love some help on this because searching has not yielded the "all you need to know about back-end flashing" that I want.

I'l read and read and read, that's not a problem, it's that I can't find what to read... let alone read and read...

Is there a sticky that I can't see?

Not much for options on the N55. Flash is only available for the 2011 and early 2012's. The only option for flashing is the Cobb AP. You can load one of their maps or the BMS backed flash for use with the JB4. You also have the option to go with a protune and no JB4.

The N54 has a ton more options, hopefully we get there some day soon.

AFAIK, the backend flash is only beneficial for the N55 if you have upgraded turbos.

Backend flash (cobb,bms back end flash) has control over boost tables,ignition,afe,fuel,etc...
Not sure exactly what you would like to know,but please feel free to ask questions and i would be more than happy to help (you have to quote me in order for me to get a notification and reply to your question)
