Our X5M has been feeling sluggish lately too it seems. It just drags a bit and it's got the Velos tune on it too. I actually wonder if the dealer may have re-flashed the car last time it was in for service. Omar, is there any way to verify if it's been reflashed? The car also seems to run fairly rich and turns the exhaust tips completely black after a day or two of driving.

Sounds like your injectors are on their way out to me. Warranty replacement will include all injectors and plugs. Mention long cranking to them as that is the main thing they need to verify the condition without codes. Just had this performed last month. Also had the velos tune on it and they didn't say anything about it nor refused to do the warranty work.

Wow yeah my dealership blows apparently. Our service advisor is a good dude, but the technicians are idiots.

I took it in for a slow crank issue and they replaced an evap line, a fuel line, and it still does it from time to time. Though the tailpipes are coated in soot and the car seems to be a dog and they just assume it's not the injectors/plugs. Lame. I might need to take it to a different dealership. Thanks for the advice!

Update:

Got the Velos tune installed.....OMG this thing is INSANE NOW!!!!

I highly recommend it!!!

Next up...Down pipes...Assuming they really make a diff.

I was also wondering how the trannys hold up in the 2010 with all the added HP and TQ...I don't plan to launch much but just overall...Freeway passing ect...?

Thanks Velos, tune kicks A$$

No problem, happy to help. Maybe try mentioning the service bulletin. See my post here for info:
