Remember you need to keep the tyre pressure up on the rears as they tend to wear out the inner edge.

That would be fantastic..that translates to about 42, 500 miles. Seems to good to be true!
On my 335, I have 17,600 miles fit now, and my rears are nearing end of life!

I'm at 20k km (12.5k ml) on my 20' Dunlops the rears are still 50% good, the fronts are almost done, about 20% left. I'd say in a perfect scenario you'll get about 25k miles out of them. In my previous 3 series both with 19' runflats B-stones I got not more then 25k ml with almost no burnouts.

I got 28,000km from mine, probably would have lasted to 38,000km but I managed to get a hole that was just too big to repair. I used it as an excuse to change all four though as my Dunlops were terribly noisy to the point that I was hating the car. I went for Bridgestones instead and am far happier.
I honestly don't know how you did it Watrob - Brizzie roads are just as coarse as Melbourne. I will check my pressure though to see if they match your recomendation when I get a chance. |

My last set of runflats would drop from 40psi down to 35psi in about 30 days, the older the tyres got the quicker they lost pressure, also every time the x5 went to the dealership they would always drop my tyre pressures back down, it was a pain because I would have to remember to pump them back up.
