Just got a 2012 X5 Xdrive35d, have a question

Hey guys,

Just picked up a 2012 X5D and noticed that there is a ridge+crack on the driver inside handle. Do you guys have this? Seems weird if by design. See picture (hard to explain).

Garage List
My X5 is the same, althought the gap was not as bad. But the more casts they make from that mould the more the gap will be pronounced.
