how to get rid of this stuff on the mirror?

i bought an x5 that has this stuff on both mirrors. how can i clean it? it seems internal not on the surface.

I have an extra set of mirrors (auto dim, heated) from 2011 X5M which is same as other E70s. If you like, I can sell you mine. PM me if you're interested.
