Well last Friday I lost my number 6 injector. I brought the car in to BMW and since all of my injectors are over a year old that means they are pre update to the newest part numbers. As we all know the newest injectors are not compatible with the old ones. When you lose one injector they have to replace the entire bank(1,2,3, or 4,5,6) Through my extended warranty they were able to just go ahead and replace both banks of injectors.

I asked them to keep injectors 1-5(the good injectors) and dispose of 6(bad injector) because I know the guys who are out of warranty want them badly since it is the only way they can replace a single injector and avoid a $2000+ bill at the dealer.

The 5 good injectors have 0 issues and between 3,000 and 25,000 miles on them and you cannot buy these anywhere anymore.

Worth noting my cars production date is 07/2009 so there are no injectors here that would have been included in the previous recall for the early model injectors. All of these work just fine

Cyl1: 1353 7585 261 - 11
Cyl2: 1353 7585 261 - 06
Cyl3: 1353 7585 261 - 09
Cyl4: 1353 7585 261 - 11
Cyl5: 1353 7585 261 - 06

No sir, $150 obo each. Can always adjust down if needed but I wouldn't raise a price on a FS ad if I listed it too low.

Nothing personal! I like this BMW community and will help as much As I can. You can find new injectors(updated) for 890$ for all 6 or ~450 for 3 wich is ~ 150$ a piece at tisherBMW!

New injectors are $135 a piece on Tischer. If you let the entire set go
for $175 you might have better luck.

Well my bad, I was under the impression new injectors were still outrageously priced at $300 a piece like they used to be. Dropping the price on these to $45 each

Curious... Looks like you have two 11 series injectors and three 10 series or below injectors. Just curious, I could have sworn I read something that said the 11 series and up injectors can't be run with a 10 or under set of injectors. Did these run fine for you before one of them went bad?

Zero issues running these all at the same time. To the best of my knowledge it was only the newer numbers that were incompatible. All of the one's listed here have never had any issue working together.

I am afraid he is right You cannot mix 11 with 10 or lower in the same bank.

Don't ask me how I know either . Someone changed them in your engine before, with wrong versions ?

BMW Orland Park did it, same place that does all my work. I am friends with the shop foreman there. Odd if they aren't supposed to be mixed because they certainly were on my car and never had issues
