Help!! Fault cd8b accompanied by cel and hesitation on acceleration

On my 07 X5 4.8L, hesitation on acceleration, unable to clear fault cd8b. I did the multimeter check, red probe neg terminal, black probe neg cable. Started pulling the fuses 1 by 1 and came across Fuse #F142, where the voltage took a dip. Manual says this is the multimedia control module. I pulled out the radio and climate combo to check the wires but all seems fine. I guess next I gotta find the module but where is it? Or what should I do next to fix this this?

Anyone ever got a fault code cd8b? Could it be that I need new DME?
