2011 X6M rear-ended

Hey fellow enthusiasts,
My gf was driving my AW 2011 X6M when a car rear-ended my car.
The driver's side rear bumper got crushed-in while the exhaust pipes on the left also was pushed out of its place. Thankfully, my gf and the other driver's perfectly fine, but my heart still aches for my x6m.

I was going to switch my exhaust anyways but does anyone know the cost for an OEM exhaust and rear bumper? I haven't walked into a body shop yet (Sunday) but will be doing that tomorrow, Monday.

I just wanted to ask you all what you would do? Repair for OEM exhaust or with that cost, switch over to an aftermarket exhaust?

Any comments or suggestions are welcome!

Thanks in advance and drive safe!

Just a guess exhaust $3500-4000.00 if you need the whole thing. If internal bumper is still OK the shroud and cover is probably $4000.00 as well, paint, labor etc. Not sure if your sensors need to be replaced. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. That really hurts!!

You could use those funds from the insurance company and buy a akrapovic exhaust.

dont paint that car, value will sink. From the pic doesnt look like there is much paint damage and a good pro shop can probably touch it up and buff it out. Then just get a new diffuser and the black trim and youre good skittles. I dont know if the exhaust is damaged but body wise based on this pic i wouldnt even paint it.

Thanks for the expert advices. I got an insurance appraisal for $1,200 (only?) and supplementaries will be requested later I guess. I will try to reduce all repairing costs and get an aftermarket exhaust (Meisterschaft or Eisenmann).
