Hey guys

Im looking to purchase a 2013 x6 35i shortly and wanted to get a real world estimate of MPGs with average driving for all. What is your combined mpg and miles per fillup.

Thanks.

Thats not that bad

Im looking at a 35i and its rated 16/23 so i wanted to get an idea where i would land. I drive 70% city.

On my 535 i used to get 19mpg even though its rated 21/30 and this is the same engine so im hoping to get about 18-19 is that realistic?

I always get 13mpg city or high way. I don't mind because I love the my X6 50i. I just feel bad for the environment at time... But then again, I see it and it makes me smile lol

Depend on how fast you drive. Take it for a test drive, and drive it as you normally would and it will give you an average, of course, reset all the mpg so you can get accurate count

With my previous BMW, the X6 35i, I never felt gas was an issue. Don't know the numbers but I wasn't going to the gas station every 2-3 days. I think it was reasonably economical.

Now I have an X6M. Don't buy an X6M if you're worried about gas mileage

I have an X6 35i with 3,5XX miles on it. Since I bought the car new, I wanted to try and document my mpg's and gas expenses for the hell of it. I downloaded the DriverDiary app on my phone and after each fill up document the date, price per gallon, miles on my car, how many gallons it took to fill it.

Here is my data so far:
8/24/13 - dealership fill up - 6 miles on the car
8/30/13 - 17.947 mpg - 310 miles
9/13/13 - 16.743 mpg - 228 miles
9/20/13 - 16.869 mpg - 243 miles
9/26/13 - 17.945 mpg - 238 miles
10/04/13 - 18.069 mpg - 323 miles
10/12/13 - 19.419 mpg - 286 miles
10/23/13 - 19.234 mpg - 342 miles
11/01/13 - 18.512 mpg - 329 miles
11/06/13 - 18.197 mpg - 211 miles
11/10/13 - 21.594 mpg - 279 miles
11/12/13 - 17.017 mpg - 282 miles (roundtrip from NJ to MD with 4 additional winter /wheels tires in the back and 2 hours sitting in traffic near Washington)

Please note that I am about 70/30 (city/highway) driving and am using 91 octane to fill up. I have never went from complete empty to full. I typically fill up with at least a quarter left in the tank.

The car is still breaking in (or so I would like to think). I am pretty "normal" with the gas. I open her up occasionally, but basically keep steady acceleration and go easy. Its close to 5,000 lbs six cylinder truck. I am not trying to be a racecar driver, or light the world on fire with "how fast it is".

Hope this helps!

P.S. This is a completely stock car. Only visual modifications were made. I am on the 20" OEM BMW Style 214 wheels with the summer performance tires. I will be swapping out to the 19" OEM BMW Style 232 wheels with winter tires in the next few weeks.

My 2012 3.5 gets average 21.7 - at least that's what the computer says. Don't drive much and I would say 60/40 local vs hghwy. Have about 10k miles since new 2/12.
